The annual Rosenannon Scrub Challenge is on!

Rosenannon Bog (or Well Moor as it is known locally) is a hidden wildlife gem, full of interesting plants and insects making their home in the bog habitat. However it is under threat from spreading scrub vegetation which, as it is a small area, can drastically reduce the amount of this important habitat. We’ve been gradually getting on top of the scrub here with the help of local Commoners and volunteers and it’s really making a difference so come and lend a hand with some scrub clearance – there’ll be a bonfire to warm up on and jacket potatoes for a lunchtime snack (or buttered charcoal, depending!)…
