First and Last – Our Living Working Landscape - Penwith Landscape Partnership. The Landscape Partnership scheme seeks to conserve and enhance the unique and very special landscape of Penwith, making a lasting difference to its heritage, people and communities.

We are looking for an experienced ecologist to provide ecological expertise to the Penwith Landscape Partnership projects and carry out farm visits and surveys in the project area, including ecological assessments of BAP habitats and farmland and advising landowners on positive habitat management.

The successful post holder will also act as the main contact for the Penwith Hedges project - identifying stretches of Cornish Hedge which would benefit from repair, recording the condition and value of these Hedges, facilitating actions to repair and maintain them and monitor progress.

3 days (22.5 hours), fixed contract, 5 years
