About our Nature Wellbeing programmes

Our wellbeing programmes are free and designed for individuals who may be experiencing lowered wellbeing, living with mental or physical health conditions, or are feeling lonely or isolated. Participants can be referred to these sessions by a social prescriber or social organisation, or can self-refer onto a course.

Our programmes are run throughout the year at various locations. Each course is different so please take a look at the current options to see which course suits you best. These courses are delivered outside in nature so please be prepared for whatever the weather may throw at us. If you don’t have suitable attire, please do get in touch and we can see if we can help! Please get in touch with us for any accessibility questions.

Our current and upcoming nature wellbeing programmes

Nature Connection for Wellbeing

A 4-week course to support your wellbeing through connecting with nature and other likeminded people.

Where: Fives Acres Nature Reserve. Allet Common, Truro

When: 10am – 2pm | 10th September, 17th September, 24th September, 1st October

Each week we will spend time in the wooded nature reserve as well as at the allotment, engaging in nature based activities, crafts, species ID, and connecting with nature and those around us.

You will need to bring warm layers and appropriate footwear (e.g., walking boots, sturdy trainers that can get dirty or wellies), waterproofs, sunscreen, and a water bottle. Please let us know if you need suitable shoes / waterproofs. We will cook lunch together each session.

After this course, we will be running weekly volunteering sessions on our allotment which we would love you to continue joining us for.

More information

Sessions are free, but you must have completed a registration form prior to joining a programme. These are not drop-in sessions, but multi-week programmes which we ask participants to attend in full (although we understand events such as sickness may occur) - this is so you can receive the full benefit of the programme to your wellbeing.

Please click here to download the form

Please submit your form by emailing it to Amy at amy.gosney@cornwallwildlifetrust.org.uk.

Once you have submitted the form, a member of the Wilder Wellbeing team will be in touch to discuss the course/s you'd like to join and book you on. Please note that filling in the generic enrolment form does not automatically book you onto the programme – you must have had contact with a member of the team to do this. Please do not turn up to a wellbeing programme without confirmation.

If you have any questions, or would like to register, please contact Amy Gosney, Community Engagement Officer.
