As a Wildlife Patron, you will join a unique group of supporters and make a bigger difference to nature.

Your support will enable us to:

  • Protect native wildlife and habitats, from choughs to ancient woodland, rare bees and butterflies to incredible marine wildlife in Cornwall’s seas.
  • Manage and develop 59 nature reserves (including an island) throughout Cornwall.
  • Work with farmers and landowners to create more space for wildlife.
  • Influence politicians, planners, and financiers to make decisions which allow nature to thrive.
  • Inspire and educate those who love Cornwall to take meaningful action for nature.

2024/25 events

As the Wildlife Patron scheme is a form of membership of Cornwall Wildlife Trust, you will also receive a copy of our magazine, Wild Cornwall, three times a year (and a welcome pack if you are not already a member). The benefits of the Patron scheme are available for a minimum amount. Anything in excess of that amount is a voluntary donation and is outside the scope of VAT.

A message from our CEO

As Cornwall Wildlife Trust’s Chief Executive, I am profoundly aware of the importance of the new Wildlife Patron scheme.  As a Wildlife Patron, your support will ensure that we can deliver nature recovery on the ground, whilst also inspiring, supporting and advising others to take action for nature. I hope that you will consider supporting Cornwall Wildlife Trust as a Wildlife Patron, helping to ensure we protect Cornwall’s wonderful wildlife and wild places.
