Located at High Cross, Constantine, this beautiful four-acre garden is set around a 17th Century farmhouse in a lovely pastoral setting. There are wonderful panoramic views, with not a road in sight or sound to disturb the peace. Trenarth is gardened to promote abundant wildlife with water and bog features and plants to encourage birds, butterflies and insects all the year round. It is also home to a maternity roost of lesser horseshoe bats.
There is much to enjoy and see including a 16th Century courtyard, listed garden walls, gravel and palm area, unusual plants, yew rooms, vegetable garden, orchard and woodland area. An ancient green lane walk leads to the wildlife pond, through what would be bluebell woods in the spring, to Trenarth Bridge and then back up through another woodland footpath.
