About the event

Come and join Cornwall Wildlife Trust, Three Bays Wildlife Group, Friends of Par Beach and Friends of Fowey at Spit Beach, Par to learn how to survey the shoreline to find many of the wonderful marine creatures we have along the Cornish coastline!

This hands-on training will allow you to partake in the Shoresearch events and be part of the vital data collection needed to help preserve our coastline. Shoresearch is a user-friendly and fun method of exploring the shore and recording the species and habitats found there. On the day, you will learn different survey methods as well as species identification techniques.

We will meet in the carpark for Spit Beach, Par at 1pm. Please eat lunch before you come and bring a drink and snack with you. You will need suitable shoes and clothing suitable for the ever-changing Cornish weather!

Further details will be given once booked closer to the event date. Any questions please do email katie.bellman@cornwallwildlifetrust.org.uk

The event is FREE to attend but suitable for over 16s only

We look forward to seeing you there!
