About the event

Join us for this free-to-attend workshop if you’d like some help with identifying plants. We’ll be looking at plants in general initially, before focusing on those found in sand dunes later in the day.

We’ll start at 10am (please arrive around 09:45) with a learning session indoors, looking at key features that can help us to identify some common families of plants. After lunch (not provided) we will head out to search the dunes nearby, to put our learning into practise.

Led by environmental educators Budding Nature, this workshop will aim to help those who are complete beginners or are looking to improve on their existing plant identification skills.

Please bring: weather-appropriate outdoor clothing, food and drink, notebook, plant identification guide(s) and a hand lens (we have plant guides and hand lenses you can borrow on the day if you don’t have these).
