Ten magnificent private gardens are once again throwing 
open their gates this summer! Whether you're an avid gardener or simply love nature, there's something for everyone. Come and see some incredible examples of wildlife-friendly gardening, treat yourself to a plant for your own garden, and sit down to enjoy a delicious home-baked cake and hot drink. All proceeds in support of Cornwall Wildlife Trust.

About the event

Set in a beautiful tranquil valley on a tributary of the River Fowey. Enjoy a three acre riverside garden specialising in trees and shrubs chosen for their flowers, foliage and form, including 55 magnolia varieties, numerous cornus, viburnums, paulownias, davidia and acers. An informal setting complemented by ponds, waterfalls and spring flowers surrounding a gothic lodge.

£6 for adults, no charge for children under 16 years.

Mobility

Access around the garden is largely by grass paths. Can be soft underfoot. Most of the garden can be viewed from the Estate road that runs in front of the Lodge and elevated above the garden.

Parking information

Parking available at the Stable Art Gallery approximately 150 metres from the garden. Limited parking for disabled visitors on the Lodge drive. Disabled drop off by the entrance gate.
