Live Beaver Cam

Come and see what the beavers are up to, right now, in Cornwall.

These live, unedited streams provide you with an insight into the world of this once native and 'keystone' wetland habitat species.

Whether they're busy building a dam, digging a new water channel or simply having a snooze after a hard day's work, beavers play a crucial role in preventing flooding and improving habitats for wildlife.

Come and see for yourself!

Don't forget! Beavers are nocturnal and are most active at dawn and dusk. Make sure to check back then for a chance to see them outside of their lodge and at work.

Please note: From time to time these streams may experience slight technical issues. We will always aim to get them up and running ASAP.

From helping to reduce flooding to improving habitats for wildlife, beavers are a species that could really benefit Cornwall.

In 2017, two beavers were reintroduced into a 2 hectare area of plantation woodland along Nankilly water - a stream at Woodland Valley Farm near Ladock - which had been fenced to create a beaver enclosure. where they were left to re-engineer the area through dam and canal building. After just two nights, dam building began!
