For just one day, the Wilder Festival is from 12.00noon to 8.00pm on Bank Holiday Sunday May 26th and everyone can join in this naturally wild day and celebrate our wildlife and wild places with Cornwall Wildlife Trust,
There will be wildlife workshops throughout the day, wildlife advice, foraging, forest school, live music, street food, birds of prey from Feadon Farm Wildlife Centre, bird-ringing demonstrations with the Cornwall BTO, wild art, forest schools, wildlife camera kits, and photography activities and even welly-wanging!
Carolyn Cadman, Cornwall Wildlife Trust’s chief executive says: “We created this festival to celebrate our wildlife, and remind ourselves how important it is. Having a thriving natural environment helps us to be more active, feel less stressed and improves our all-around health.”
She continues: “I’ll be bringing my young family and hope to explore the coastal Eco-Park as well as trying out some of the wildlife workshops we’re running”.
