About the event

Come and join Cornwall Wildlife Trust staff on Monday 2nd of December from 10am for a day filled with informative introductory walks and talks on woodland and habitat management. See the agenda below for more details. Half Day tickets are also available (10am - 12:30pm and 1pm - 3:30pm). This day is suitable for adults and older children although all persons under the age of 18 will need to be accompanied by a responsible adult.

No experience necessary, as a member of the Helman Tor Reserves Team will guide you throughout the walk, introducing the group to the basics of reserve management. Just bring a pair of wellies, your waterproofs and a packed lunch! Refreshments and toilets will be available before and after each walk with time to eat your own packed lunch in between.

Come along for an opportunity to explore the reserve and understand the work Cornwall Wildlife Trust are doing at Helman Tor.

Important information:
This day will involve two reserve walks one in the morning and one in the afternoon. There is the option to sign up for a morning session (10am-12:30pm) or an afternoon session (1pm-3:30pm). Or, you are more than welcome to sign up for both sessions and eat your own packed lunch with us in the Chapel between.

The walks will be on uneven, wet and slippery terrain each lasting approximately two hours. We will have Gunwen Chapel as an indoor 'base' for refreshments before and after each walk. We will also have lunch in this space. Please get in contact regarding dietary requirements.

Please contact Kathryn on kathryn.mackiewicz@cornwallwildlifeturst.org.uk or phone 07538 415 594 if you have any questions.
