Time: 11am – 1pm

The survey includes settling into a sea-watching session, scanning the water for wildlife sightings. There’s time for breaks, and attendees are encouraged to bring a hot drink in a flask, snacks, and binoculars if available. Please wear or bring warm, waterproof clothing, and sturdy footwear, as the event takes place on exposed cliffs, where weather conditions can be unpredictable. Safety is a top priority, so be prepared for uneven terrain and cold winds. Everyone is welcome, making it a perfect activity for families, individuals, and nature lovers alike.

Public Transport: From Truro, board the First Kernow Bus Service 87 or T2, which take about 30 minutes to reach St Agnes. From Church bus stop in St Agnes village, it's a 45-minute walk to St Agnes Head. The bus services are generally accessible, but it's advisable to check with the operator for specific requirements. Tickets for the bus can be purchased from the driver or through the First Bus app, and bus schedules may be limited, especially on weekends and holidays, so it's recommended to check the latest timetables on the First Bus website before your trip. Parking: This site has an open-air car park with a gravel surface, and parking is free for all users. Maps and information boards are available, but there are no Blue Badge parking bays, parent and child parking bays, or a designated drop-off point. Outdoor Space: the outdoor area includes open countryside with various surfaces such as concrete, tarmac, wood bark, grass, gravel, compacted earth, uncompacted earth, and loose stones. Footpaths are available throughout, but the majority of the paths are not wide enough for wheelchair users, and there is no step-free level access around the area. Steep ramps and slopes without handrails are present in the main areas and towards the end of the walk, and there are no bench seats along the paths for people to rest.

Toilets: there are no toilets available at this site, the nearest facilities are in the village of St Agnes

Additional Tips: Wear weather-appropriate clothing, bring snacks if needed, and check local weather before starting. The coastal path can be windy and slippery
