About the event

Are you a home-educating family, based in or around the St Austell-Bodmin area? Join us in the crafts barn at Go Beyond Coastal Centre on Wednesday 30th April from 11:00 to 14:00, for an activity-based workshop, exploring together as a community how Cornwall Wildlife Trust's Tor to Shore project can support your family to learn about nature!

Members of the Tor to Shore team, and wildlife experts Budding Nature will be there to chat all things outdoor learning, and to workshop what opportunities, materials and resources would help you get out and about, exploring and learning in your local area. There will be the opportunity to take part in several naturebased activities throughout the workshop, as well as time to share your experiences of learning outdoors, and ideas for opportunities you'd like to see!

Important Information

There is limited space for parking at Go Beyond, so please do car share if you are able. Other activities/sessions will be taking place on site, so please be respectful of others whilst arriving and leaving the site.

Lunch will be provided - please advise us in advance of any dietary requirements. If you would prefer, you are also welcome to bring your own packed lunches.

Mobility

Only about 300m of walking from the car park to the barn will be necessary, but the ground is uneven and slightly downhill on gravel. The entry track to Go Beyond is quite uneven, as it is a farm track. Free parking is available around reception, it is then a short walk to the barn. Toilets are available on site, as are accessible toilets. Refreshments and lunch will be provided.
