During Thank You Week we take some time out to particularly express our thanks to our members, supporters, funders and volunteers. Without their dedication to wildlife in Cornwall, the Trust's work would not be possible.
We've picked a few stories to showcase how much we appreciate the support of those who are helping nature in Cornwall to thrive.

Thank you, Sharon
Sharon started volunteering with the Marine Strandings Network when a career change after lockdown made it possible. She now provides invaluable support to the team. A microbiologist by background, Sharon is delighted to be able to use her scientific expertise to help find out why these animals become stranded on our shores.
You get a call in and then you grab the kit and head straight down to the beach. There’s usually lots of people around when you arrive and I set about trying to get as much information as I can. Is it bycatch? Entanglement? Natural causes?
The people in the team are amazing. We're all have the same mindset, the same aim with the nature.

Thank you, Madeleine!
Madeleine and her daughters raised over £200 for Cornwall Wildlife Trust by helping to clean up Cornwall! Considering herself lucky to have grown up and still live in Cornwall, Madeleine grew up on Trevone Farm, where she and her sister Kathryn now run their own business, The Shop Trevone Farm. Now Madeleine is raising her daughters to have the same love and enjoyment of our wildlife and wild spaces as she does; as well as educating them about the damage that can be done and ways in which we can all help.
I dream of a wilder and cleaner Cornwall for my daughters to enjoy with their families in the future… and I'm willing to help!

Thank you, Bruce
Bruce Robinson has loved wildlife throughout his life. Last year he made his Will using Cornwall Wildlife Trust's free Will writing service, including a gift to the Trust. Bruce does all he can to help wildlife locally and is pleased that his gift will make a difference after he has gone.
