Landowner Workshop
About the event
Join us for an informative workshop designed for landowners looking to explore opportunities to integrate nature-friendly farming practices on their farm. Talks from Cornwall Wildlife Trust (CWT) and Carter Jonas will highlight the funding available through both public and private sector funding streams, and will reflect on the key considerations in terms of the farm business. We will discuss how nature-friendly farming can increase commercial return as demonstrated in the Farming at the Sweet Spot report written by the Nature Friendly Farming Network and The Wildlife Trusts. We will also take the opportunity to look at some of the nature-friendly farming methods which are currently being done at Creney Farm, including field drain blocking and pond creation.
A buffet lunch and teas/coffees will be provided to all attendees.
