Seasearch Refresher Evening
About the event
Please join us at Shortlanesend Village Hall for this event, which will be great for all levels of Seasearch volunteers from those who have only recently joined to those who are old hands.
We have several things to update you all on and we wanted a chance to address some of the frequently asked questions about filling in Seasearch forms, as well as to provide you an update on local marine conservation news.
We would particularly love to welcome those who have done a course but who haven't actively been involved for a while - we have trained over 500 of you over the past 10 years so there are lots of you out there who we haven't seen for a while! In recent years we have shifted our focus to include snorkelers and freedivers so even if you aren't a scuba diver any more you would be most welcome to get involved as a snorkeler with this fantastic project!
We would like the event to be a chance for you to ask questions so please have a think about anything we can do to help!
We'd also like to use the evening as a chance to celebrate the finds and photos taken by our amazing volunteers. If you are booking on please send us a some images (seasearch@cornwallwildlifetrust.org.uk) of your favourite recent underwater UK photo and a photo of a rare, cool or surprise find and something you had trouble identifying! - we will put the images together and have a celebration of your work as volunteers!!
THERE WILL ALSO BE CAKE!
